ONLINE TRAINING OF TRAINER COURSE
This specialized training program, a first in Vietnam, is an intensive online trainer/teacher development program based on the award-winning Master Online Teacher Certificate Program designed by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
As a global partner of the Illinois Online Network (ION) OMT has combined the best international practices from ION with our own rich experiences developing online programs and deploying e-learning systems in Vietnam, into the “Online Training of Trainers” (Online ToT) program for Vietnamese trainers and lecturers, who are interested in making online teaching an important part of their academic careers, or who wish to take a leadership role in online learning at their institutions.
Participants to OMT’s “Online ToT” program will be introduced to the capabilities of current technologies for online teaching and learning, practice on Moodle, the world’s most popular Learning Management System, are enabled to design pedagogically sound and highly engaging online learning content, learning activities, and student assessments. They are guided and facilitated by OMT’s experienced Master Trainer team in e-learning course design and creation by incorporating appropriate roles for faculty and students, choosing technology suitable to the audience, creating and assigning effective summative and formative online assessments, demonstrating the communicative nature of e-learning and blended learning courses, and following sound e-learning design principles.
