Launching of VIOD website to promote the professional development of directors of public firms in Vietnam

OMT is privileged to be engaged by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to support the inauguration of the Vietnam Institute of Directors (VIOD) and its web portal http://viod.vn/
Launched on April 5, 2018 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Institute of Directors (VIOD) is the first independent and private organization to promote best practices of corporate governance in Vietnamese public and listed companies.
VIOD is supported by the International Finance Corporation, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi Stock Exchanges, Vietnam’s State Securities Commission (SSC), and Switzerland’s State Secretariat for Economic Affairs.
The mission of VIOD is to encourage business ethics and transparency, create a pool of independent board members and enhance the professionalism of Vietnamese boards. The Institute will organize workshops, seminars, conferences, and board events on important governance topics, mainly through its flagship Governance Excellence Programs.
